Epic is a growing brand from the heart of the Southern California Scooter Scene. The Epic brand is all 100% USA made products that use the best practices in design and materials. Strong design priciples allow riders to ride to their full potential. This is due to the fact that Epic scooter components are strong, reliable, and made with american quality.

The RG1 fork is Ryan Gould's signature fork and represents a touch of subtle elegance as it paves the way for the future of fork design. Ryan came to us with the idea in Summer 2013. He spent months with our parts designer Nick Darger working on many different versions until they found the perfect result. November 2013 we had our first prototypes, some of which are still being ridden by our team today in June 2014. Here at EPIC, we do not settle for less, so we have been thougholy testing and revising the RG1 forks to bring forward the best product possible.

The RG1 Forks represent many key features that a rider such as Ryan Gould looks for in a pair of forks. Most important, they are manufactured here in America with the highest quality materials and craftmanship. They are CNC'd from one solid block of T6 6061 Aluminum, a material known for its great strenth to weight ratio. The fork tube is tapered, its thickest part comes in at 0.23", allowing for strenth were needed and cutting weight as well. The bottom is countersunk and includes a built in cap for ICS. The top allows for the installation of the standard 1" starnut required to work with HIC and SCS. There is a machined lip inside to catch the teeth of the starnut and hold it in its place.

Another great feature is the Fork Legs. The three legs are boxed and very thick to allow for high strength. The small bridge between the legs allows them to work as one, further increasing the strengh. They have a slight downward taper for asthetics and weight reduction, thinning the fork lower down where less material is needed. At the bottom they include built in machined spacers, a must for any high end forks these days. The countersunk area for the axel is just big enough to fit a socket wrench. This means no more fighting to get that peg tight enough.

Honestly this is the best fork i have ever use, they are strong and light weight in which is a good feature. Also I were to ever recommend any forks, it would be these. These forks are the best forks in my opinion. They are totally worth the cost
